APPEAL OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF PCPE TO TURN JUNE 8 INTO A GENERALIZED CLAIM OF GENERAL STRIKE AGAINST GOVERNMENT POLICIES AND AGAINST CAPITALISM
The Executive Committee of PCPE calls the entire working class to turn the strike called by unions in the public sector on June 8 into a day of struggle against the government management of the capitalist crisis, that loads on the working people the consequences of the crisis. But these measures require a more forceful response by the workers and popular organizations. Not only is the government who has responsibility in this situation, but the imperialist project of the EU who is behind this strategy of the oligarchy, the EU project shared by all the forces of the Spanish parliamentary spectrum. Not only do these measures directly affect the workers of different administrations. Tthe banks and the employers have applauded it since it encourages their direct interests, that run in the line of labour counter reform announced as imminent by the government, in another sign of the direction of loading only against the workers the most brutal burden of the capitalist crisis. The Executive Committee of PCPE calls the entire working class to join this strike on 8 June. The workers' committees in all workplaces and the sectoral unions should discuss this situation and join the demonstrations that day, enforcing in practice the dynamics of the general strike. The aim should be to expand as much as possible this day of struggle. The Executive Committee of PCPE calls the entire working class to join the demonstrations taking place on June 8, to try to make them as massive as possible, and so the cry of for general strike is imposed in the shortest time possible to the union leaders who are seeking to stop this call for general struggle. The Executive Committee of PCPE calls the revolutionary and popular forces to form a great united front against the capitalist crisis, placing the call for a general strike against the government, against the EU, and against capitalism, as central in their immediate political work. The Executive Committee of PCPE calls the entire working class to make the June 8 the beginning of the workers' general response against the oligarchy and its governments.
