Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government gave a reception at Pyongyang Koryo Hotel Thursday in honor of the visiting delegations and delegates of the organizations for the study of the Juche idea on the occasion of the Day of the Sun.
Present there on invitation were Vishwanath, director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, Kenichi Ogami, secretary general of the IIJI, and his party and delegations and delegates of organizations for the study of the Juche idea in different countries and regions on a visit to the DPRK.
On hand were Yang Hyong Sop, vice-president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Pak Kun Gwang, vice-chairman of the Social Scientists Society of Korea, and officials concerned.
Yang, addressing the reception, said that President Kim Il Sung was the father of the nation and founder of socialist Korea who turned the DPRK into a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliant in national defence.
He extended thanks to Juche idea followers who have rendered invariable support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just cause of socialist construction and national reunification.
Vishwanath said in his speech that Kim Il Sung founded the Juche idea, clearly indicating the path to be followed by humankind.
The President liberated the country, built a socialist state and dedicated his whole life to the happiness of the people, he said, adding:
The President will always live in the hearts of all people as he performed undying feats for the human cause of independence.
